2022 Alaska USA Kids Day

Every April, Alaska USA throws fun filled family event—and this year was no exception. A record number of people had a blast at the Alaska Zoo.

Animals, children, and tons of fun!

After a 2-year hiatus, Alaska USA Kids Day at the Zoo returned with a roar! The event reached a record attendance of more than 3,500 people as families from all over flocked to the Alaska Zoo for a fun-filled day of animals, activities, and prizes.

Kids aged 3 to 17 received free entrance to the zoo and all its exhibits, as well as the opportunity to join in a wide variety of fun activities.

Kids Day is part of Alaska USA’s mission to give back through community enrichment, providing safe and fun outlets for children to explore and play. It’s also an opportunity for Alaska USA employees to volunteer their time in the community they love to live and work in.

Kids Day is held every April to bring the community together as we welcome springtime to Anchorage.
