Each time you use Alaska USA's Visa® Platinum Credit Card, you earn ScoreCard points that can be redeemed for air travel, hotel stays, cruises, and merchandise. What are ScoreCard™ rewards? Earn ScoreCard points with every purchase on your Alaska USA Visa Platinum Credit Card. You can redeem your points for travel and merchandise, with hundreds of options to choose from! What can I get with ScoreCard points? You can use your ScoreCard points for:
How can I start earning points? You will automatically earn one point for each dollar spent on purchases using your Alaska USA Visa Platinum Credit Card (excluding returns). Can I earn points on balance transfers and cash advances? Points are only earned for purchases - one point for each dollar spent. How long will it take to earn enough points to redeem? Of course, that depends on how often you use your card. But with so many reward options available, you can choose quality brand-name merchandise rewards with as few as 2,000 points. Or, save up points for a vacation or a really big treat. How is ScoreCard different from mileage programs? ScoreCard is all about choices. Redeem points for travel to hundreds of destinations, or choose a cruise or other vacation options. You're not “stuck” with a particular airline or blackout dates. And, while you're traveling, you can still accumulate frequent flier miles. If you choose not to put points toward travel, you can reward yourself from a large selection of merchandise! Will it take forever to earn enough points to travel from Alaska? Not at all. Air travel starts at 10,000 points and the online redemption portal lets you combine points and cash so you can travel sooner. How will I know how many points I have? You can check your point balance by visiting the Alaska USA ScoreCard web site, or by calling (800) 854-0790. Your points will also appear on your Visa statement. Do points expire? Points expire on a rolling schedule, approximately six years after you earn them. (Ex: Points earned between January and December 2006 will expire in December 2012.) Your credit card statement will include advance notice about points that are set to expire. ScoreCard points sound great, but doesn't that mean I'll have to pay a higher annual fee? The annual fee for the Alaska USA Platinum Visa Card is $50, but that fee is waived if you have an active Alaska USA checking account. How do I find out more about ScoreCard? Your Alaska USA Visa Platinum statements will include information and rewards catalogs. You can also visit www.scorecardrewards.com for descriptions of rewards and how to redeem your points.
