No pen, no checks, no stamps. Pay your bills with a click of the mouse - any time day or night. Bill Pay is a monthly subscription service offered through UltraBranch® for members with Alaska USA personal checking accounts. It's a convenient and powerful tool that lets you pay your bills electronically. What can I do with Bill Pay?
Does it cost anything to use Bill Pay? Not if you use the service to pay at least one bill each month. You may make up to 15 payments per month at no charge. (Additional payments are 40 cents each, less than a postage stamp!) When you do not use Bill Pay in a given month, there is a $5.95 service charge. Why should I use Bill Pay? § It's easy! Bill Pay is easy to set up and use, and also includes a Payment Assistant that walks you through the process step by step. Features such as the “Quick Add” process even allow you to enter new biller information with as little as the company name or phone number. § Save money. Just think - you don't have to pay for stamps anymore and that's a savings of $75.60 a year or more. You also write (and order) fewer paper checks. Plus it's easier to avoid late fees when you schedule your bills in advance or set up automatic payments. § Stay organized. Having one location where you review and pay your bills - while at home, at work, or traveling.
Yes, as long as you keep your UltraBranch user name and password private. Alaska USA is committed to protecting the privacy of your financial information. UltraBranch Bill Pay not only offers password safeguards, but also encryption, SSL (secure socket layer) technology and automatic sign out if your session is inactive for 10 minutes. When will my payment be processed? When you schedule a payment, you select a pay date. Money will be withdrawn from your account on this date and the biller will be paid. How far in advance should I schedule payments? Most bills can be paid electronically the same or next business day. However, if the payment is sent by check, it can take four days for your biller to receive it. When you enter an amount for payment, Bill Pay automatically displays the earliest date you can select for the company or person to receive the payment. You can either accept this date or change it to a later one. What if there are problems with my check? You will be notified within Bill Pay and by e-mail if a payment has failed to go through. How do I learn more? Check out the online Bill Pay demo at www.alaskausa.org. How do I sign up? If you already use UltraBranch, simply log in, click on the Bill Pay tab and follow the instructions. If you aren't an UltraBranch user, you can sign up for it today at any branch or by calling the Member Service Center. Highlights
